Sometimes the best recipes come from asking a simple question: what if we took everything we love about a classic cheeseburger and wrapped it in a burrito? That’s exactly how the Burgerrito came together—a fun mashup that delivers all the familiar flavors of burger night in a completely different way.
The key is starting with a burger patty shaped into a long rectangle instead of the traditional round patty. It cooks up perfectly on the griddle, gets topped with plenty of melty cheese, and fits naturally inside a warm flour tortilla. From there, it’s loaded just like a classic cheeseburger with shredded lettuce, fresh tomato, onions, pickles, and ketchup.
But the part that really makes the Burgerrito? The fries go inside. Instead of serving them on the side, crispy French fries get piled right onto the burger before everything is rolled together. You get juicy beef, melted cheese, cool and crunchy toppings, tangy pickles, ketchup, and crispy fries in every bite.
Once everything is wrapped up burrito-style, you’ve got an easy-to-eat, ridiculously satisfying spin on two comfort-food favorites. It’s familiar enough to taste like the cheeseburger you know and love, but different enough to make burger night a whole lot more fun.
The Burgerrito isn’t trying to reinvent the cheeseburger—it’s just giving it a Grilling on the Beach twist.
